He was already quadriplegic and he ended up in intensive care. Last Friday, we learned that John passed away. I didn't know John very well, but from what I understood, he was a Christian. I would like everyone to find it in their hearts to pray, not John, since there is nothing that we can do to intervene for him, but rather, to pray for the Baker Family. I'm positive that they need all the prayers that they can get after the tremendously arduous year that they have had so far. Also, I just learned that one of my friends (who was repeating his Senior year) has been arrested for bringing a toy gun into the Indianapolis International Airport. He is going to court soon. Between work, soccer and everything else I'm finding it hard to make time for reading my bible and praying. I know that that should come first but it's a lot harder to make it #1 than it should be. This is really cool, the summer between my junior and senior year I went on a mission trip to Romania and had a blast. I really connected with the teens of Romania, while playing volleyball, soccer, and just sitting and talking all night and day. I especially connected with a boy by the name of Beni, Beni and I stayed in contact even when our paths separated and I returned to Tab and he stayed in Romania. Unfortunately I went to Iraq the first time and we lost contact. I am telling you all this to inform you of how cool God is and that he can use all forms to connect believers. God used Tab's youth website to reach thousands upon thousands of youth and teens in Romania, all the senior high students that went to revolution inspired this "revolution" in Romania. I recently received this email from Beni who found me through Tab's youth website. His email is this: how is todd fisher doing ? and ron blevins and family ? i met marshall mckenna 2 yerars ago at a friend/s wedding in alexandria. i live in bucharest now. i am working with teens at "Holy Trinity Baptist Church" www.traiestealtfel.ro this weekend we have a conference about integrity. i saw pictures on you web. it seems to be a very nice job there. i saw pictures from "revolution" conference. that inspierd us to make the conference in Bucharest and if it;s the Lord;s will mabe in few years will be a national confernce special for the teenagers. This is the first of the kind in the country. There allready will be many teens from different towns from the contry (many churches that we know) but mabe in the futre many kids will come and learn to live by the Bible. I pray for you.
